After our 2020 Grenache won placements at many fine restaurants in Southern California, we decided to combine A1 and 262 clones to create our second vintage of this low-intervention 100% biodynamic Grenache from Martian Ranch. Smooth and medium bodied with bright aromatics, delicate tannins and notes of strawberry, white peach and raspberry on the palate, this wine was aged for 20 months in Le Roi and Epocure French oak, and features an elegant finish of citrus, dark fruit and star anise. The biodynamic farming practices at Martian Ranch in the Alisos Canyon AVA, combined with the cooling marine winds and weathered shale soils make this A1 and 362 Clone fruit exceptional. Produced naturally with minimal intervention and very low SO2. All bottles are hand numbered by the winemaker. Only 205 cases were made. Enjoy now or hold in your cellar.
